Words from the founder herself
“My journey as an Occupational therapist began long before I enrolled myself in an OT school. When I was 3 years old, my family suffered a car accident which injured my mother and changed how she could perform her activities of daily living forever. As I grew older, my curious mind & gentle heart always wanted to find ways to help her do meaningful things she needs or wants to do without impacting her health.
I choose to become an Occupational Therapist because it is a profession that requires sensitivity, understanding, and compassion; all of the characteristics that I value tremendously. What I found that was very unique about this profession is that Occupational therapy addressed the vital importance of people’s psychological and emotional well-being, as well as their physical needs.”
